Project Overview
For this project, I was responsible for picking an image to recreate in four different color swatches using tones, shads, and tints.
Reference Image
This is the reference image I used to create all four different color variations.
Color Palettes
These are my four color palettes. The first one is my complimentary palette, and the second one is my monochromatic palette. The third is my split complimentary palette, and the fourth is my triad. Each has at least seven different shades, tones, and tints to use in the image. The last two palettes have much warmer tones compared to my other two palettes that hold cooler colors.
Complimentary
This is the complimentary variation of the oranges and lemons. I created all of these on my iPad using procreate and painting over the original image with all of my colors.
Monochromatic
This is the monochromatic variation of the oranges and lemons. I love the simplicity of these colors and the design.
Split Complimentary
This is the split complimentary variation of the oranges and lemons. This is my favorite color palette out of the four that I did. I think this one is fun and cheerful. I love this design.
Triad
This is the triad variation of the oranges and lemons. I love how I used these colors on this design.
